Besides, the new model will be offered with two engine options, including a 2.4-liter inline-4 and a more potent 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4.

The latest 2023 Kia Sportage looks refreshed and more stylish than before. First of all, we noticed a more assertive styling inspired by the EV6 electric model.
It wears a revised version of the brand’s signature Tiger Nose grille, which is similar to what we’ve seen on other Kia models like the Seltos, Sorento, as well as the new K5 sedan. The new SUV also comes with revised headlights, featuring new a graphic. However, if this is not enough, you can also get a range-topping SX Turbo model. This one comes with a turbocharged engine consisting of a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder configuration and makes a meaty 240 horsepower. However, if you add the AWD system, the horses will drop to 237. Both engines are offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD) as the basic setup. It’s not also harmful to mention that the maximum towing capacity of the Sportage is 2,000 pounds, regardless of engine.
Release Date, Price
The release of the new 2023 Kia Sportage will reportedly happen later in the year. This model is one of the most selling KIA models after the Sorento SUV. However, the manufacturer didn’t reveal any information about its pricing, but we expect it to be slightly higher than before.
The current base model starts at $25,265, while the SX Turbo, with an all-wheel drive, tops $36,425. The Kia Sportage is very competitive in its segment, and its sparring partners are the Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Nissan Rogue.
