The new-generation Nissan Rogue brought a more attractive look, and the upcoming model will follow the same design language. 2022 Nissan Rogue Engine Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2022 Nissan Rogue is available with two engine options. The standard model is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. This mill sends power through a continuously variable transmission and to the front or all four wheels. Overall, as you can see, the new model provides more output than before.
Last year, the same 4-cylinder was good for 170 hp at 6,000 rpm and 175 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. From the information that we got, the next engine is a new 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-3 engine. We don’t have the performance numbers, but we can expect it to provide best in class fuel economy.
Release Date and Price
At this point, there is no official on-sale date for the 2022 Nissan Rogue. However, according to many speculations, the new model will be introduces sometime in summer or fall this year.
Pricing is not available, but as a carryover vehicle, it will most likely start at less than $27,000. This compact crossover will continue its battle with models such as the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Escape.
