The full-size luxury SUV segment after Yukon and Escalade models will be richer by one more refreshed model. Recently, the new 2022 Lincoln Navigator has been spotted testing and on the streets near Ford’s global headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan.

2022 Lincoln Navigator Exterior
Caught near Ford’s global headquarters, the new 2022 Lincoln Navigator wears some new exterior updates relegated to the front and rear. Interestingly, we can see the Navigator’s grille is more extensive in height, featuring redesigned headlights. However, heavy camouflage wrap does an excellent job of hiding the rest of the lower fascia.
However, the design below will probably be borrowed from a handsome Lincoln Aviator. That means we can expect the same shaped fog lights and likely some of the minor changes. Looking at Navigator from the side profile, we can see the new pair of wheels painted in black and the same design as the previous model. However, the rear end is fully wrapped, and we can only see the thicker taillights.
We don’t have much information regarding the interior of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator. According to many gossips, the forthcoming SUV will probably host some new tech. We will most likely see the same sizable digital displays available in the new generation Escalade. To remainder, the current Navigator comes with a 10-inch unit, which seems small compared to nowadays.
Like before, the Navigator is available in three trims: Base, Reserve and Black Label. Basically, even the base form brings plenty of premium amenities. Highlights of this model include leather upholstery for the first two rows, power-folding 2nd- and 3rd-row seats, heated and ventilated front seats, tri-zone climate control, hands-free power tailgate, and so on. Also, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto as the 16-speaker Revel high-end audio system comes standard.
Navigator’s safety package is prosperous. This model includes parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with emergency braking, lane-keep alert and assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and a rearview camera.
Lincoln doesn’t like to mess around when it comes to performance. Because of that, the new 2022 Lincoln Navigator will be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. However, compared to the predecessor, this unit provides significantly more power.
The current model with the same engine generates 450-horsepower, while the new one 20 horses more. If you didn’t know, Blue Oval used the same engine in the Ford Expedition. Navigator’s flagship model sends powers via an amazingly responsive 10-speed automatic transmission.
