The newest 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS (MSRP) starts at $70,150 for a base 450 model. However, going up to GLS 580 that deploys twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, the price will jump to almost $99,000.

Basically, fully loaded GLS 580 can kiss $130,000. In the same category, the latest BMW X7 starts just a hair beneath the GLS. However, models like Lincoln Navigator or Cadillac Escalade are a few hundred dollars less.
