The base model uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that generates 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. This unit comes with a reliable 10-speed automatic transmission sending energy to the rear wheels in standard form. Although, all-wheel drive is available as an option.
Plug-In Hybrid
The plug-in hybrid version is the next engine that is available with the Grand Touring version. As the first engine, this one uses the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which is augmented by an electric motor delivering a total of 494 horsepower using a lithium-ion battery.
According to Lincoln, unlike the first engine, this one comes with all-wheel drive as standard. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that a PHEV Aviator should cover 21 miles in electric-only mode when it is fully charged. Also, they stated that it could achieve a total range of 460 miles.
How Much Will the 2022 Lincoln Aviator Cost?
The new 2022 Lincoln Aviator will arrive at some point in the year. Lincoln recently reveal that we can expect a price increase slightly. The current entry-level model that uses rear-drive has an MSRP of $51,100, while Reserve costs $58,035. The most favorite trim Black Label that comes with an all-wheel-drive start at $79,790.
However, the most efficient hybrid-powered Grand Touring begins at $69,995, and it can reach $89,430 with the Black Label package. Compared to models such as Audi Q7, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, the new Aviator starting price is lower.
