The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus is coming, and we can expect some small refreshments. According to many reports, this midsize SUV will be discontinued after 2023. Anyway, the upcoming Nautilus will keep the same exterior design as the current model, but it will look fresh.
In 2007, this SUV comes as a replacement for the popular MKX, and since then, it was redesigned a few times. The Lincoln Nautilus is the SUV that comes with an attractive front end, featuring a relatively small square grille, rectangular headlights, and thin daytime running lights. Simply, thanks to curvy lines, this SUV looks more conservative than most in the segment.
2023 Lincoln Nautilus Facelift
The upcoming 2023 Lincoln Nautilus will keep the same design as its predecessor. First of all, the design isn’t new, but for 2023YM, it will be refreshed.
The upscale look is present, and the Nautilus dominates in the front with a relatively small attractive grille, rectangular LED headlights, and thin daytime running lights. The rear end is not less attractive, and it comes with a new oval taillight with a horizontal bar.
Standard Features
The new 2023 Lincoln Nautilus is a very spacious midsize SUV. This model is able to fit five passenger’s trough two rows of seats. Moreover, even the standard seats are comfortable, while Lincoln offers as an optional 22-way power-adjustable front seats with a massaging function. Behind the rear seats there is 37.2 cubic feet of luggage space, which can be expanded by folding seats to 68.8 cubic feet.
When it comes to the standard equipment, the new model still offers a 12.3-inch driver’s digital instrument cluster and the 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen. The range-topping Black Label adds more options and a choice of new interior themes. As for the standard safety features, this SUV offers a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, lane-keeping assistance, and rear parking sensors.
2023 Lincoln Nautilus Engine Specs
The entry-level Nautilus comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 250 horsepower. This engine uses eight-speed automatic transmission and either front or all-wheel drive. A more powerful is 2.7-liter turbo V6 that makes 335-hp, and it can run to 60 mph in 5.9-second.
Both engines use regular gasoline and both save a few drops thanks to a stop/restart function. Regardless of the engine, the maximum towing capacity is 3,500 pounds.
2023 Lincoln Nautilus Price, Release Date
We don’t expect the new 2023 Lincoln Nautilus to cost significantly more than before. Actually, it will likely be in the same range. The current model starts with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $43,030, plus a destination charge. Going for an upper trim Reserve, you must prepare $49,435.
Moreover, the top on the offer is the Black Label variant, starting at $65,630. As you can see, the Nautilus is a more priced SUV than the models such as the Lexus RX $47K, Cadillac XT5 $44K, and the Genesis GV80 that starts at $50K.
