The 2023 Hyundai Palisade is getting a makeover for the 2023 model year. While not a complete redesign, the new renderings reveal the Palisade with some changes made to both the exterior and interior. From what we can see, the forthcoming SUV looks more handsome, and the manufacturer makes both the headlights and taillights slimmer than before, resulting in a sportier stance.
The grille is also new, and it looks similar to the one we saw on the recently released Tucson model. From recent reports, the new Palisade will go on sale later next year, with a slightly increased price over the current generation.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Redesign
From what we can see, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Palisade will receive a complete overhaul on the front. The manufacturer made some changes and LED headlights look slimmer than before.
The Palisade grille keeps the same three-dimensional design with a new Hyundai’s Parametric Hidden Lights technology. Anyway, the front of the Palisade is possibly inspired by the latest Tucson. Meanwhile, on the rear, Hyundai merely upgraded the graphics on the taillights that are also slimmer compared to its predecessor.
Cabin Upgrades
This facelift continues inside the cabin of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade as well. First thing first, the manufacturer will add more better materials and infotainment screen as the digital gauge cluster may be replaced with the bigger ones. From what we know, the current 10.25-inch touchscreen will be replaced by a bigger 12-inch touchscreen similar to that on the Ioniq 5.
We also expect the base model to include features like the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Many modern safety tech features are available with this model like automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, full-speed adaptive cruise control, and rear occupant alert. Here’s everything we know so far about this amazing SUV.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Engine Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2023 Hyundai Palisade will probably use the same engine type as the previous model. That means we will again see a 3.8-liter V6 that’s capable of generating 291 hp and 262 pound-feet of torque.
This engine comes with a eight-speed automatic transmission, sending power to either the front or all four wheels. There are also plenty of rumors of a hybrid option, which would also power Tucson and Santa Fe models.
Release Date & Pricing
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade is a mid-size SUV that will arrive sometime in 2022. Most likely, the new model will hit stores in March. At this moment, we don’t have an exact price range for the upcoming SUV. However, considering the complete makeover and a potential hybrid option, it’s reasonable to be a bit pricier than previous ones.
The current base version starts at $34,375, and it can go up to $50,000 for the fully loaded model. The next-generation Palisade will be competing with models in the same class such as the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Sorento.
