The forthcoming 2023 Ferrari Purosangue SUV has finally been spied testing, featuring very attractive and sporty styling. We’re happy to say that the caught prototype carries a thinner camouflage, which allows us to see body lines of the new SUV. Much like the Roma and Portofino, the upcoming model will use the same design language. In general, we cannot wait to see what this model will look like with volcano red paint, which is a trademark of this company.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn’t reveal what will be under the hood, but we expect either a turbocharged V-8 or a mighty V-12 engine to power this SUV. We expect the new model to come later this year, probably in October. However, its sales could start next year.
2023 Ferrari Purosangue Design
Even though it’s still disguised, the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue is already looking far sportier than other SUVs in segment. For those who may not know, the forthcoming SUV rides on the new platform, which should support some sort of electrification.
The overall design is impressive, and we noticed many similarities with the rest of Ferrari models. As you can observe, the Ferrari Purosangue is still hidden from view, but it seems that it has the same design as the 296 GTB. The new SUV has four tailpipes, muscular tailgate, as well as beefy wheels.
Interior Rumors
Unfortunately, there are no concept photos of the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue at the moment. So, we have no idea what the cabin will be like. From many rumors, the forthcoming SUV might borrow some of the technologies from the Roma model.
If this proves to be accurate, expect the cabin to wear gorgeous leather and real carbon-fiber trim. We also presume a much larger 7.0-inch display as well as a gauge cluster. The navigation should be standard, as well as the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
2023 Ferrari Purosangue Engine Specs
At this point, Ferrari didn’t reveal any information about the engine of the Purosangue. We aren’t sure what will be under the hood. However, many rumors are suggesting either a turbocharged V8 or a mighty V-12 engine. All-wheel drive should be standard, and we wouldn’t be surprised if manufacturer adds some sort of electrification in the form of a hybrid system either.
The current Ferrari uses a V12 engine that produces 950-hp, so one thing is sure, expect a very powerful machine. We expect at least 650 horses to compete with the Bentley Bentayga 626 horses and against the 641-hp Lamborghini Urus.
2023 Ferrari Purosangue Price, Release Date
The new 2023 Ferrari Purosangue could cost around $350,000, which is much more than its rivals. However, at this point, we aren’t sure whether the features will be available standard or optional, so it’s not fair to discuss its pricing.
Ferrari will release more details closer to the SUVs on-sale date, which is set for later this year. When this model hits the market, it will try to compete with other luxury SUVs such as the Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus, and Aston Martin DBX.
