The forthcoming 2022 Acura MDX sits on the same platform as the predecessor, featuring a double-wishbone front suspension and a larger tire contact patch. Unlike the predecessor, the new MDX grows by 2.8-inches (71 millimeters) in length and 1.4 inches (35 mm) in width.

Overall, the design is compact, and it hosts an increased dash-to-axle ratio, resulting in a more sporty stance. Like the new TLX and RDX models, the MDX comes with the same design language. It features brands Diamond Pentagon grille, JewelEye headlights, and Chicane daytime running front and center lights. The A-Spec trim adds a more attractive exterior and a special badge on the grille and back.

The 2022 Acura MDX interior refines the TLX’s design language, which is a big plus. However, unlike the sedan model, this SUV offers 16.3 cubic feet of cargo with the seats up and 71.4 cubic feet with the second and third-row seats folded down. It also features more standard equipment, and buyers of the basic model will get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an amazing new 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Qi-compatible wireless charging are included as the standard equipment. The A-Spec trim and Advance Package are the most favorite with side bolster, offering 16-way power front seats and much better quality and technology.

However, more power generates the high-performance Type S model.
