The famous Japanese carmaker has introduced the new model 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE at the Chicago Auto Show. The popular family three-row SUV is getting a special package that will bring a more attractive look than the base model. Thanks to that, one can expect a lot of sportiness and more power under the hood.
Besides that, the cabin is updated and offers plenty of high-quality materials and techs. According to the carmaker, this trim model will use the Highlander’s optional V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque.
2021 Toyota Highlander XSE Design
The design changes outside of the enhanced variant 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE are visible and this model offers unique and sporty styling. There are plenty of changes if we compare it from the base model.
The new front fascia comes with a redesigned grille, lower spoiler, and unique headlight with black accents. However, this is just beginning because further upgrades include high stylish machine-faced 20-inch wheels, roof rails, mirror caps and window moldings that are all finished in black. On the back, refreshments are evident thanks to the chrome-plated dual-exhaust tips and unique taillights.
Beneath all that styling, this SUV is also available with the new and stiffer springs and a starchier rear stabilizer bar.

There is no yet info about the pricing of new family member 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. The official didn’t say anything about how much will cost the new model. From some information, the Highlander XSE will cost somewhere between XLE and Limited models. So, we can expect it to be around $42,000.
The Japanese automaker makes this SUV very competitive and we like its sporty look. As for the release date, the new three-row SUV will go on sale in the summer as the 2021 model.
