Renault has confirmed that it will release a few new and facelifted SUVs, including 2021 Renault Arkana and Capture. The new 2021 Renault Arkana could be finally available in Europe and it should replace famous short-lived Kadjar.
Like before, this compact SUV sits between the smaller Captur and larger Koleos. From what we heard, the new generation will be more attractive and we can expect a mildly facelifted version to arrive in the first half of next year.
2021 Renault Arkana Exterior Styling
The upcoming 2021 Renault Arkana is a stylish and modern SUV that carries over many design cues found on Renault’s current range of SUVs. This model comes with slim front LED headlights and a famous grille that also Kadjar wears. Overall, the manufacturer claims that Arkana is the next flagship model from this manufacturer. Basically, it looks way better than the Capture and Kadjar.
The attractive design language theme continues at the back. Renault used a bumper-mounted number plate, new high boot lid, and full length LED light strip. Side profile completes the look of this SUV with stylish 19-inch alloys wheels, features chrome exterior detailing.

2021 Renault Arkana Powertrain Specs
The upcoming 2021 Renault Arkana is based on the robust Dacia Duster platform that is available with front or all-wheel-drive systems. This model has been fitted with a choice of two engines. The first one that powers the new model is a small 1.3-liter diesel engine that is able to develop around 148 horses.
The next engine is from the Dacia Duster model and it consists of a 1.6-liter petrol engine that makes 115 horses. According to Renault, the new model will come standardly with manual transmission. There will be two options and buyers can choose between CVT or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch) transmissions.
Release Date and Price
The forthcoming 2021 Arkana is a five-seater SUV that provides enough roomy cabin for all occupants. Alongside that, this SUV is looking unique and very eye-catchy.
Finally, we heard that the new generation would be available in Europe and it will replace the popular Kadjar model. From the latest Renault statement, the upcoming Arkana will be available in the first quarter of the next year, with a price starting under $20,000.
