2021 Mazda CX-7 Under the Hood
The redesigned 2021 Mazda CX-7 will be definitively available with the two engine options. Basically, in this department, we can only expect some small modifications. The base powertrain will use a 2.5-liter powertrain that delivers 225 hp and 310 lb-ft. This engine will use the same six-speed automatic transmission as the predecessor and it will use a front wheels system.
A next alternative is a SkyActive-D unit that will be offered as an optional powertrain. This model will be powered by a 2.2-liter powertrain that can produce 175 hp and 310 pound-feet of torque.
