The 2021 Lexus RX350 will be refreshed with new materials and the manufacturer will add a bolder look. First of all, don’t expect significant updates, because some minor changes are happening. Lexus has used the same bold spindle-shaped grille and it added more chrome materials around it.

However, the spindle grille has a better pattern than before, and the front bumper is stronger looking thanks to bigger intakes. The next most visible change is the revised LED headlights, and the restyled LED taillights. Blacked-out C-pillars remain and it gives the same floating appearance as before. As we already mentioned, RX L models will be available as well and are 4.3 inches longer than the standard 2-row RX.

Inside, we can expect only premium materials and techs. According to the latest news, the RX350 will feature the same arranged cabin-like predecessor. The base model is available as two rows seater, while RX350L offers more spaces inside and it comes with three rows. Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 is still standard equipment and it includes lane-centering, bicyclist detection, and road-sign assist.

The central dash will add more quality materials and 8.0 inches touchscreen system comes as standard. However, choosing upper trims, buyers can get a bigger 12.3-inch unit with a split-screen display. Android Auto capability and Apple CarPlay are also part of standard equipment.

Standard safety features include automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beams, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist.

The larger version RX 350L uses the same setup, but it will lose five horsepower due to its single exhaust pipe. The hybrid RX 450h and the bigger RX 450hL will be once more available. Both models are using the all-wheel drive and are powered with a 3.5-liter V6 and battery-electric powertrain.

The output of the models RX 450h and the RX 450hL is 308 horsepower. Also, this engine is fuel-efficient and it`s rated 31 mpg in the city. Towing capacity is still pretty good and all models above can cost maximum tow 3,500 pounds.

The release date of the new SUV will be sometime in 2020. The 2021 Lexus RX 350 will bring a more attractive look and some new techs inside. However, the price should remain the same as before. The base model that comes with FWD as standard will start at $45,000.

Moreover, if one wants to add AWD, it must pay an additional $1,400. One of the priciest models is the 450h F Sport, which starts at $51,500. The bigger RX 350L that comes with three rows of seats costs $48,000, while the 3-row Lexus RX 450hL hybrid is $51,500. The Lexus RX will continuous to compete with models such as Mercedes-Benz GLEBMW X5, Infiniti QX50, Lincoln Corsair, and Volvo XC60.
