They have also revealed a starting price of the base model $79,995, while a fully loaded SUV can surpass the $100,000 mark. Read below for more information.
2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Exterior
Traditionally, the forthcoming 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV, like its predecessors, has an absolutely unique aesthetic. This SUV is mostly recognized by its boxy shape, but it also looks futuristic thanks to a unique LED light signature and fender flares.
Just like the Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator, this model also features a standard Infinity Roof with four modular sky panels. You can basically open up the interior very easily removing panels and doors. The size of the upcoming SUV is pretty the same as the Rivian R1S, while the Chevrolet Tahoe is a little lower and wider.
Rugged and Luxurious Cabin
The interior of the 2024 Hummer EV SUV is inspired by the military vehicle. Unlike other models in class, the forthcoming SUV has an upscale design, many premium materials, and the latest tech features. No worry, the Hummer also offers a comfortable cabin with plenty of space in both rows of seats and a big cargo.
The cabin is rugged and luxurious, and there are two big screens available looking very high-tech. All models come with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.4-inch center-mounted infotainment system.
2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Motor Setup, Range, Battery Charge
According to GMC, the first-year model will be available with two powertrain options. The lower trims will come with a dual-motor setup, which should produce 625 horsepower. The base EV2 trim has an estimated range of 250 miles, while other trims an estimated 300-mile range.
GM also forecasts that the tri-motor setup will deliver 830 horsepower, and it will be able to run from 0-60 mph in only 3.5 seconds. All-wheel drive is standard on every trim, which is definitively a big plus. It is also worth mentioning that Hummer EV SUV supports 800-volt DC fast-charging capability.
2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Price, Release Date
The pricing for the GMC Hummer EV SUV starts at little less than $80,000 for the EV2 trim, while the EV2X trim costs almost $90,000. The more expensive is the tri-motor EV3X that’s $99,995, and the Edition 1, which is $105,595.
