The new 2023 Nissan Armada will debut sometime next year, and it will look much better than ever. This SUV doesn’t offer a long-wheelbase model like many of its rivals, but you’ll be surprised by its luxuriousness. Anyway, the new three-row model comes with an independent rear suspension providing the calmest and smoothest ride.
On top of that, it features a comfy cabin with an unexpectedly upscale vibe. In general, you can get many optional packages and the fanciest, albeit priciest, Platinum trim. As for the engine, we don’t expect any changes at all. Probably the new Armada will use the same potent 400-hp V-8 with automatic transmission. However, we expect some mechanical changes that will improve fuel economy. As you may know, this engine suffers from dreadful fuel economy.
2023 Nissan Armada Facelift
The new 2023 Nissan Armada looks much fresher compared to last year’s model. This SUV wears a desirable design language, as we saw on recently redesigned Pathfinder and the Rogue models. Anyway, for the 2023 year, the manufacturer will make some changes to this full-size SUV.
First of all, its body remains boxy with a few curves to keep things interesting. Overall, it dominates with rugged styling, including an attractive grille and the new light signature lights on the back. As can we see, the Armada is proportionally very similar to the Toyota Sequoia, Chevy Tahoe, and Ford Expedition. However, unlike the Ford Expedition Max and Chevrolet Suburban, the Nissan Armada doesn’t offer a long-wheelbase version.
Interior Upgrades Includes a New 12.3-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System
The new 2023 Nissan Armada will have a stylish and spacious interior that supplements a classy outer shell. Like before, this SUV accommodates up to eight passengers. It comes standard on the SL and up with a power-folding third-row that can be adjusted via buttons in the cargo area. Unlike many of its rivals, the Armada feels fancy and has plenty of third-row legroom.
Every Armada comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, built-in navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, standard Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay. The mid-level SL trim will add a 13-speaker Bose audio system, while the top-of-the-line Platinum trim offers rear-seat entertainment with dual 8.0-inch screens.
2023 Nissan Armada Engine Specs
Under the hood, the new 2023 Nissan Armada will probably be powered by the same 5.6-liter V8 engine as its predecessor. This powertrain is connected to a civilized seven-speed automatic transmission, and it makes up to 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. You can get this model with pairs with either rear or all-wheel drive. As for towing, every Nissan Armada model can tow 8500 pounds. In general, this SUV is not perfect, but its charming characteristics offset its imperfections.
Release Date and Price
The debut of the 2023 Nissan Armada is set for next year. Most likely that this SUV will appear on markets in the fall of 2022. As far as we know, it will receive some refreshments, offering a much better exterior look and an even more comfy cabin.
We think the SL trim is the best value for invested money because it inherits 13-speaker Bose audio system, 20-inch rims, leather interior appointments, and a sunroof. The current S trim starts at $50,000, while top-ranking Platinum can pass $67,000.
