The all-electric 2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron will officially debut this year. According to first spy shots, the new SUV looks more attractive than the standard Q6, and it dominates by a satin silver grille topped with Audi’s four rings. Interestingly, as the Q4 e-tron model, the Q6 e-tron shares the same design elements.
However, official powertrain specifications of this SUV are not available yet. We expect it to use a dual-motor setup with roughly 470 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Also, Audi could add battery pack capacity of roughly 100 kWh and offer 350-kW charging. If this comes true, the range of this model should be in the 300-mile ballpark.
2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron Exterior
Fortunately, we have first spy shots of the new 2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron. The front end of the caught model is completely uncovered. It dominates at the front by a satin silver grille that’s topped with Audi’s four rings. As you can see, the Q6 e-tron follows the same footsteps as its smaller sibling, the Q4 e-tron.
The headlights are very eye-catchy thanks to a new matrix lighting elements that, when they’re off, don’t appear to have any particular shape. However, when they turned on, though, the design changes drastically. From the photos, we also noticed a new triangular taillights and an exhaust-less bumper.
Interior Rumors
Just like the SUV’s exterior design, we believe the 2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron electric SUV will share the same interior look as Audi’s smaller Q4 E-Tron. That means the Q6 E-Tron will have two large screens, limited buttons, and a center console that’s slightly angled toward the driver.
Also, we know that this model will offer great comfort through 2-rows of seats. In general, we expect the same seating layout as we saw in the Q4 E-Tron. This means there should be enough room for up to five passengers.
2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron Motor Setup
At this moment, there is no official information regarding motor specs of the forthcoming 2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron. The current Q4 E-Tron uses a single 201-hp electric motor and rear-wheel drive. That’s the same setup as we saw in the Volkswagen ID.4.
So, we think the most possible scenario is that it will come with a dual-motor setup with roughly 470 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Besides, expect at least a battery pack capacity of 100 kWh and 350-kW charging support. If this comes true, the Audi Q6 E-Tron will be able to travel on a single charge for around 300-miles.
2023 Audi Q6 E-Tron Release Date, Price
Audi has not announced when the 2023 Q6 E-Tron makes its exact debut. From the information that we got, the release date could happen at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next one. In case you didn’t know, production was originally expected to start in late 2021, but it was delayed first due to the semiconductor chip shortage and after because of the war in Ukraine.
Considering the Q4 e-tron starts at $44,945 with destination, we expect the Audi Q6 e-tron to be more than $60,000. The Q6 e-tron thanks to its attractive styling will compete with models such as the Mercedes EQC, Jaguar I-Pace, Tesla Model X, and the BMW iX.
