Great news, Nissan unveiled its new high-performance version of the Patrol model. The new model called 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo features aggressive styling with numerous red accents. Interestingly, the manufacturer added new suspension and Bilstein shock absorbers, resulting in sharper handling.
Nissan also offers the Nismo model in four colors, including White Pearl, Black Solid, and Grey and Silver metallic. Besides, the interior also more modern, comfortable, featuring some new technology and quality materials. Like the standard Patrol, the new Nismo uses the same 5.6-liter V8, delivering more output. According to Nissan, the high-performance Nismo will produce 28 hp more.
2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo Exterior
The body-on-frame SUV, 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo, looks decisively more aggressive than the standard model. This SUV features a beefier body kit and numerous red accents inside and out. To distance itself from the regular variant, Nismo comes with modified three-dimensional honeycomb mesh ‘V-motion grille. On top of that, they also added the special Nismo badge on the grille that is eye-catching.
Unlike the standard Patrol, the high-performance Nismo adopts much better-shaped headlights and neat LED fog light inspired by Nissan’s Formula E car. It also rides on massive 22-inch wheels, and it adopts a rear diffuser and a pair of large exhaust tips. Overall, the manufacturer did a great job, and the new Nismo looks very sporty and unique.
Premium Interior
Inside, the latest 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo offers a more comfortable premium cabin than the standard one. However, its dimensionally the same, and it comes in the form of three-row, offering enough room for seven passengers. Stepping into the Nismo model, youll first notice that there’s a snazzy steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts, Alcantara leather, and Nismo badges.
Although it’s not mentioned in the press release, the new Patrol Nismo will also come standard with large infotainment displays and red accents all over the cabin. In terms of safety, the Nismo offers the same package as the standard one. It includes an advanced breaking system, vehicle dynamic control, traction control system, anti-lock braking, and tire pressure monitoring system.
2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo Powertrain
The all-new 2022 Nissan Patrol Nismo is a high-performance SUV available with a 5.6-liter V8, delivering 428 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque.
Like the regular model, the Nismo should be linked to the same seven-speed automatic transmission. Unlike the standard V8 Patrol version, the Nismo provides 28 hp more power with the same torque amount.
Release Date and Price
The high-performance Nissan Nismo was revealed a few days ago, wearing much more attractive body lines than the standard Patrol. Basically, this body-on-frame SUV features a more aggressive design thanks to a beefier body kit and numerous red accents inside and out.
Nissan confirmed that the new model should be available on the market next month in the Middle East. Pricing is also available, and the Nismo is not a cheap SUV at all. It begins at $105,000, which is almost double the price of the regular model.
