Hyundai is planning some serious changes for its best-selling models. The upcoming 2021 Hyundai Tucson is one such a model and this crossover will get a redesign. Hyundai will deliver more quality, bolder design, and a more modern interior.
Whatsoever, we already saw new Hyundai’s Sonata and Venue models. Similar design language will be present on the new Tucson. The current generation is present for four years now. However, the next model will be the new-gen vehicle. According to Hyundai, “the whole world will freak out over the 2021 Tucson”. We can expect more sportiness and better performances. Whatsoever, Tucson N-Line model will finally become available.
2021 Hyundai Tucson New Styling
Hyundai’s vice president already dropped some hints about the design of a new 2021 Hyundai Tucson. Knowing that new Tucson will get a very own personality with some cool and modern touches. We already saw a new Venue model with a polarizing grille.
Moreover, Hyundai Sonata recently introduced new LED signature light strips and new headlights. Tucson could get the very same design language with some unique features. Hyundai is working on new styling so we can expect great aerodynamics.
The interior will get serious changes as well. While we wait for more specific details, some things are already familiar. The 2021 Hyundai Tucson will arrive with the brand-new center stack. The infotainment display is integrated and it will be larger than before.
Hyundai will offer a more upscale cabin with high-quality materials and better comfort. Leather upholstery is standard only on the higher trim levels. The new center stack will open space for gear shifter that will now seat closer to the driver’s position. The dashboard sits lower now and it will sport fewer buttons. The 2021 Tucson will get improved safety rating and surely expect a new cabin design. That includes more chrome trims, different shape of air vents and much more.
2021 Hyundai Tucson Powertrain
We are still not sure which engine will power the all-new 2021 Hyundai Tucson. The most likely outcome is for the automaker to keep the current engine lineup. A 2.0-liter gasoline unit is offered as standard. This engine provides 165 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. Sooner or later, this engine will get a replacement in the near future.
The optional 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated drivetrain is a far better choice. It generates 182 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai will probably offer the same 6-speed automatic transmission. There are no words about a speculated dual-clutch or CVT gearbox. The standard powertrain delivers 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Optional 2.4-liter provides 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
Hyundai Tucson N-Line
Hyundai also plans to expand its high-performance SUV lineup. The 2021 Hyundai Tucson N-Line model is the best possible answer. Days, when SUVs were spacious and more comfortable vehicles, are gone now. A high-performance SUV segment is growing year after year.
Tucson N-Line will add a sportier vibe and more aggressiveness. Lower ride height, new suspension, and better aerodynamics are just a start. Whatsoever, this version will get a 340 hp engine. That will be enough to beat most of the competitors. Interior will get exclusive seats with contrast stitching. On the other hand, the exterior will add body-colored and blacked-out features.
