General Motors are about to release the new 2021 GMC Yukon XL. This full-size SUV continues to ride on its fifth-generation. It is a very reliable model that comes with tradition. The all-new 2021 GMC Yukon XL is about to get a redesign. The latest spy shots are the proof we’ve been waiting for for so long. Still, some parts of the exterior are not visible at all. XL remains a full-size SUV with a premium design. However, expect even more premium improvements for 2021. For a start, new sheet metal is in the works, along with the new front and rear fascias. In the back, the redesign includes brand-new C-shaped taillights. From now on, tail lamps are stretching all the way into the tailgate.
Furthermore, quad exhausts are looking sporty. As for the front fascia, new grille and headlights are in the offer. A new rising window line has been borrowed from the new Canyon and Acadia models. AT4 variant is also available and it comes with two additional inches of ground clearance. On top of that, AT4 offers different air suspension.

The interior of the full-size SUV delivers a truly amazing level of comfort. The list of standard equipment is impressive and 2021 GMC Yukon XL offers a lot of cabin space. The 2021 model will gain new upholstery and possibly new interior color schemes.

2021 GMC Yukon XL Engine Details
The brand-new GMC Yukon XL won’t introduce changes under the hood. That means the regular version of the full-size SUV offers a 5.3-liter V8 once again. This gasoline powertrain is producing 355 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque.
A 6-speed automatic transmission is available, along with the standard two-wheel-drive. Full-size SUV provides 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. If you want more power, the Yukon XL Denali trim level comes with a 6.2-liter V8. This potent engine generates up to 420 horsepower.
Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2021 GMC Yukon XL will cost $55,000. If you want even more luxury, AT4 starts at $68,000 and Denali trim level at $75,000. The sales will start later in 2020, possibly in the last quarter. Diesel engine is a possibility and we’ll let you know if the new information arrives.
