The latest GMC Yukon has been unveiled in Vail Colorado with the new AT4 trim. The 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 is made to provide excellent off-road experience by combining premium amenities with rugged features.
This model is built on a reliable platform and it will be available for both Yukon and Yukon XL models. If we compare it to the regular model, the upcoming trim is different in many things. It provides a more distinct visual look, genuine off-road ability, and innovative technology that separates it from the base one.
2021 GMC Yukon AT4 Changes and Updates
Every detail outside the newest 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 has been smartly constructed. This model offers excellent styling and it looks more attractive than the rest of the trims. We like the bold and refreshed front fascia of the AT4 model that comes with a crafted dark chrome grille and a gloss black front bumper. Also, the manufacturer updated its unique and recognized C-shaped LED headlamps with a new laser-etched texture.
Moreover, like the Denali trim, black appearance can be seen everywhere as on the roof rails, assist steps, 20-inch six-spoke machined-aluminum wheels with Carbon Gray Metallic accents. On top of that, the manufacturer used 20-inch Goodyear® all-terrain tires for improved traction when driving off-road.
Sporty Look Inside
On the inside, the upcoming 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 sports more standard features than the regular one. The cabin is spacious and is punctuated by dark brushed aluminum accents and many premium materials. Also, this model provides comfort without compromise for up to nine passengers. The new AT4 trim brings roomier cabin than previous Yukon models, and it gives ample space to carry cargo. However, you can easily extend cargo space by folding third-row power- bench seat.
The standard equipment of GMC Yukon AT4 will include leather-appointed seating in the first and second rows as well as AT4-logo-embroidered head restraints. Moreover, steering wheel, first-row and the second-row seats are all heated. The unique AT4 floor mats and bright door sill plates provide a better reputation, and it adds premium styling.
2021 GMC Yukon AT4 Powertrain
The newest 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 has been engineered to features excellent performance. The Yukon is available with a 5.3L EcoTec V8 engine that produces (355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque). The AT4 model comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and it provides smooth power delivery.
The next one is potent 6.2-liter V8 that produces 420 hp. This powertrain comes with a stop/start system and cylinder deactivation feature. AT4 will also add an AutoTrac 2-speed transfer case with low-range gearing. This system provides additional torque for powering up steep obstacles. Price and Release Date
According to General Motors, the new model GMC Yukon AT4 and all other trim levels will debut on the same date this summer. The base Yukon will cost around $53,000, while the off-road AT4 at $60,000. Yukon XL will also be available to purchase on the same date as the rest ones.
