When it comes to updates, the interior will most likely get minor improvements. That only includes updated features and systems. Overall, the 2020 Suzuki Grand Vitara won’t change at all. The use of upscale materials is solid, but far from luxurious. Of course, real luxury comes with a higher price and upper trim levels.
There will be room for five passengers and generally, cabin space is ample. The seats are supportive and the comfort is more than satisfying. The dash hosts the same infotainment screen as before. Engine Specs
If the rumors are true, then the 2020 Suzuki Grand Vitara will keep the existing 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This unit produces up to 165 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, along with the all-wheel-drive configuration.
Some speculations are suggesting a smaller 1.4-liter four-cylinder diesel output that comes with the dual-clutch transmission. However, those rumors are currently very unlikely to happen.
2020 Suzuki Grand Vitara Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2020 Suzuki Grand Vitara will cost slightly over $25,000. We don’t believe there will be any sort of price increase or changes in trim levels. The mid-size SUV will arrive this summer and it will be firstly launched in India.
This model is present since 1988 and Grand Vitara changed a lot through the years and generations. However, the current generation is present for a decade and a complete redesign is more than needed.
