2021 Genesis GV80 Uses the Shield-Shaped Grille Like Genesis G90

The latest SUV uses the shield-shaped grille that is also introduced on the recently revealed 2020 Genesis G90 luxury sedan. The latest G-matrix pattern, specially made for this model, also appears in the texture on the wheels. Thanks to that, the wheels provide a more athletic look. On the back, the same design remains as on the concept model.
Interior Details
Interior is another department where 2021 Genesis GV80 dominates in the SUV segment. The cabin is unique and luxury is all around. Also, there will be plenty of rooms inside. The posh SUV will be offered with three rows of seats, and there is enough space for seven occupants.
On the center stage of the dashboard, the highlight is a new ultra-widescreen infotainment system and is accompanied by a secondary screen for the HVAC settings. Buttons are kept to a minimum with a touch screen that handles climate control functions. Moreover, the air vents are slim and they give the illusion that they extend onto the entire width of the dash. Reliable V6 Engine
According to Korean Car Blog, the upcoming 2021 Genesis GV80 will be offered with a few powertrains. There will be a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder, gas-powered 3.5-liter V6, and a diesel-powered 3.0-liter.
The turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine will be the strongest one. This powertrain produces up to 380 horsepower and 390 pound-feet. However, diesel is an inline-six-cylinder, and it delivers 278 hp and 434 lb-ft according to Korean Car Blog reports. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will power the base model, and it will produce no less than 280 or 290 hp. All powertrains above will be connected to the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
2021 Genesis GV80 Release Date and Price
The newest 2021 Genesis GV80 will go on sale in the summer this year. Thanks to many changes over the concept model, the GV80 is ready to compete against models such as BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90, and Lincoln Aviator.
The famous company didn’t specify any details about the price. However, according to reliable sources, the new luxury SUV is expected to have a base sticker of about $50,000.
