The all-new 2021 Ford Expedition should become available later next year. This full-size SUV will introduce numerous refreshments both visual and mechanical. Besides the regular model, Expedition MAX will also arrive, it is an even larger variant of this big SUV. On top of that, Ford could return the famous FX4 off-road package.
There will be three trim levels and you can choose between the 7-seat or 8-seat interior layout. Under the hood, the 2021 Expedition will offer both gasoline and diesel powertrain options. From the next year, a hybrid version is more than likely.
2021 Expedition Interior
Ford will focus more on the interior this time. The all-new 2020 Ford Expedition will look more modern and it will offer better safety. The standard variant of this SUV offers a room for seven passengers. Interior room is generous and the list of standard features is more than satisfying.
Expedition comes with a rearview camera, three-zone climate control, and keyless entry. On top of that, nine-speaker audio system, Bluetooth and USB ports are in the offer too. You can upgrade the interior thanks to the upper trim levels or with loading optional features.

With 210 inches of length, the 2021 Ford Expedition is a full-size SUV. Expedition MAX is 12 inches longer than the regular variant. The wheelbase is rated at 122.5 inches and MAX offers an additional 9 inches. The regular version is 76.5 in tall while MAX is 4 inches taller.
Basically, Expedition MAX offers more interior room and better cargo capacity. So, let’s say you opt for the Platinum trim level that offers a room for seven. Expedition MAX delivers an additional 16 cubics over the basic’s 64 or 105 cubic feet.
Gasoline V8 Engine – Power, Transmission, Towing
The arriving SUV comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine as standard. This gasoline unit is producing up to 380 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. New 2021 Ford Expedition can tow up to 9,350 pounds and it offers a 10-speed automatic transmission.
