The upcoming Chevrolet Suburban will introduce a new trim level. According to Chevy, the new model will be called 2021 Chevrolet Suburban RST and it will be based on the original model. The first spy photos of the RST model reveals that the new high-performance SUV doesn’t wear any camouflage.

Unlike the regular version, the RST comes with more aggressive styling and it hosts plenty of improvements. In addition, compared to other trim levels of the Tahoe and Suburban, the RST gets more dark elements. Also, it’s powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

The maximum towing capacity with the model that uses 2-wheel drive (2WD) is 6,300 pounds.

However, going to the Premier Plus Edition or RST Edition Performance Package, buyers will get a more potent powertrain 6.2-liter V8. This model will produce 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that and also 10-speed automatic transmission and sport-tuned suspension plus, towing is increased to 8,100 pounds.

The price of the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban LT trim level starts at $57,000. So, it means that this pickup truck wearing an RST package will be more or less $65,000. From the latest reports, this model will go on sale this summer.
