The mesh grille looks sleek and the whole front is very sporty. LED daytime running lights are available as well. The side intakes are sitting surprisingly high and the hood is very stylish. The rear section is roomy and the cargo area is rated at 49.0 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. A large touchscreen unit is available and the crossover comes with great safety rating.
The seats are very supportive, especially up front. The base model is offering a dual-zone climate control and an 8-inch display as standard. Adaptive cruise control, parking assistance, emergency braking and surround view cameras are optional. However, blind spot monitoring and a rearview camera are standard. The 2020 XT4 will get some changes in trim levels, or we should call it “rearrangements”.
2020 Cadillac XT4 Powertrain
Unlike the XT5 model, the 2020 Cadillac XT4 offers a smaller 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This drivetrain cranks out 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It comes with the Active Fuel Management system and the fuel economy is more than good.
The turbocharged engine is offering a 30 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city. Also, a four-wheel-drive setup is optional and it lowers fuel economy rating, but nothing significant. A 9-speed automatic transmission is available and the output figures are similar to the rest of the competition.
Release Date And Price
The all-new 2020 Cadillac XT4 will hit the dealerships in the last quarter of 2019. The price of the base models starts at $36,000. However, mid trim levels are more recommendable. They are offering more standard equipment and more luxuries for a price of $40,000.
