You can opt for numerous packages such as an off-road package, and the interior can be configured to accommodate five, six or seven passengers.
The 2019 model is not getting a total to revamp, it is more the changes as a part of the mid-cycle refresh. The exterior gets new wheels and tires options, new exterior paints are in the offer and Black Edition model looks astonishing. If you want a competitive SUV with the distinctive appearance, great safety, strong performances and comfy interior, the 2019 Acadia is the answer.
2019 GMC Acadia exterior and dimension changes
Latest updates on the upcoming 2019 GMC Acadia are looking brilliant. This mid-size SUV now wears much attractive suite that looks sharper than before. Sloping windshield looks great, along with the new wheel wells. However, the biggest change is the downsizing of the vehicle. The 2019 Acadia is now 7.2 inches shorter and 3.5 inches narrower. Moreover, this SUV is still classified as the mid-size.
The new model will get a new set of wheels that are ranging from 17-inch to 20-inch rollers. The base model arrives with the standard halogen projector beam headlights and HID technology is for the upper trims. LED daytime running lights are now standard on every model.
Trim Levels
There will be a new trim level in the offer. As in the previous years, SLE, SLT and Denali trims are available, however, All Terrain trim is new. The name speaks for itself as the All Terrain trim is for those who are seeking the off-road adventures. Whatsoever, this trim adds a very unique three-bar front grille with the body-color surroundings.
More chrome trims, a new set of wheels and tires are available too. Denali models are sporting a much aggressive design with even more chrome materials especially around the doors and rear fascia.
2019 GMC Acadia interior improvements
The interior of the upcoming 2019 GMC Acadia will see a vast of improvements. The cabin suffers a slight redesign, the dash comes with the new shape and there are more upscale materials in the offer. An 8-inch IntelliLink screen is still present, along with the steering wheel and climate controls.
Another display is the TFT unit that sits in the gauge cluster. As we mention, new Acadia is easy to configure, so the cabin can fit from five to seven persons. With that in mind, the second row offers either three-person bench or two captain’s chairs. If you want a third row, it is optional and if offers two seats. Thanks to the latest track system, reaching the third row is a lot easier now.
If you want All Terrain models, the third row is not available, not even as an option. Cargo room is great, as the Acadia provides 79 cubic feet of space with the seats folded flat. Tech-wise, the 2019 GMC Acadia gets the newest IntelliLink version that supports 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Backup camera is available, along with the rear seat alert system that is standard.

2019 GMC Acadia Black Edition
We really like the Acadia’s Black Edition model. The Black Edition is available only on the SLT trims. The performance is not boosted, the interior is the same as well. This special edition changes the exterior and paints it in black, which looks astonishing. Moreover, more chrome materials and more black-out features are available. Literally, all of the features are darkened so if you are a fan of it, try it.
