If you’re looking for an SUV that offers an enjoyable drive, great comfort, and an interior filled with the latest technology, look no further than the 2024 Audi Q8. The second-generation model will continue to share many elements with the three-row Audi Q7 SUV. Anyway, the Q8 is a more stylish two-row twin, which uses the same underpinnings.
Interestingly, power comes from the same turbocharged 335-hp V-6 engine with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, the same setup available on Q7’s upper trim levels. However, there is also a high-performance SQ8, which delivers 500 hp or even crazier, a 591-hp RS Q8.
Strikingly Beautiful Exterior
The exterior of the 2024 Audi Q8 will be refreshed, and the new SUV is looking more aggressive than ever. Basically, the manufacturer makes a few small changes to the front end. First of all, the hexagonal grille looks more aggressive, and Audi added more muscular body lines. The Q8’s looks change a bit depending on the model and package.
For example, the SQ8 is the best option if you’re looking for something different than the regular one. This one adds carbon fiber mirror housings, door inlays, and rear diffuser trim. The RS Q8 is also available, and it will change this SUV into a supercar thanks to many black accents and an intimidating stance.
2024 Audi Q8 Interior
The highlight of this SUV is definitely its luxury interior. Audi has crafted the 2024 Q8 with more materials, adding more upscale features. Inside, you’ll get many features as standard, including four-zone climate control and a leather dashboard with contrast stitching. Other features that are also available are a digital gauge cluster (called Virtual Cockpit), navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Inside, there is more room than you can imagine. However, unlike its twin brother, the Q7, the Q8 offers only two rows of seats. Anyway, you can comfortably fit up to five passengers.
2024 Audi Q8 Powertrain Specs
Just like the model before, the new 2024 Audi Q8 is available with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which produces 355 horses. You can also get a more powerful twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with two different iterations. There’s the milder and more affordable SQ8, which makes 500 hp, and the more powerful RS Q8.
The RS Q8 is also the most expensive model, developing 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Every version of the Q8 comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Quattro all-wheel drive as standard. Overall, as you can see, this department is basically unchanged compared to the first generation.
How Much is a Fully Loaded Audi Q8?
Despite small improvements, the price of the 2024 Audi Q8 will be slightly higher. Unlike the model before, the new one will have a starting MSRP of $71,000 for the Premium, while the Premium Plus model is a little less than $75,000. The Prestige is the upper trim, which starts at $80,400, and it can go to $100k.
