The new 2023 Toyota C-HR will arrive next year, unfortunately, only with mild changes. As it stands, the new model will probably, besides the same design, also deploy the same 4-cylinder engine.
However, Toyota will surely add more quality materials inside and more standard equipment. In general, this SUV is not room friendly, but it still can fit comfortably four or five passengers. It’s enjoyable to drive it, and it looks athletic. The 2023 model is expected to start at about $22,000, which makes it a very low-cost SUV. Moreover, the top-of-the-line Limited model, which is the highlight of the offer, will cost below $28,000.
2023 Toyota C-HR Facelift
The new 2023 Toyota C-HR is a subcompact SUV/crossover that looks futuristic, echoing many cues from other Toyota cars and SUVs. This model is recognized by numerous angles and lines, resulting in a sporty stance. We highly recommended Nightshade Edition that brings black-finished 18-inch alloy wheels and black door handles/chin spoiler/badge overlays.
The new 2023 C-HR is available in various colors with contrasting roofs and side mirror caps for more demanding buyers. You can choose some paints like Oxide Bronze, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Knockout Silver Metallic, and Hot Lava.
New Infotainment
Inside, the new 2023 Toyota C-HR will be more eye-catching compared to the outgoing model. The interior design is stylish, and it should feature the same diamond patterns on the dashboard, doors, and headliner. According to the manufacturer, the quality of materials is more upscale, and comfort is guaranteed for longer trips.
The entry-level model includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa compatibility, dual-zone automatic climate control, 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, and a 6-speaker audio setup. However, going up to XLE trim, buyers can enjoy the leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry/ignition, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Limited trim is the most expensive, and it brings an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and leather upholstery.
2023 Toyota C-HR Engine Specs
The new 2023 Toyota CH-R is the SUV that’s available with a solo engine. This model uses a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit making 144 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. As you can see, it’s not a turbocharged engine, unfortunately.
Moreover, we should also expect the same CVT system that sends adequate muscle power to the front wheels. In general, the Toyota C-HR didn’t offer all-wheel drive so far, but that would be changed with the new model’s release, for sure. As for the fuel consumption, the current model with the same engine provides 27 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
When Can We Expect the New 2023 Toyota C-HR?
As mentioned, the new 2023 Toyota C-HR will arrive next year, featuring mild upgrades. Basically, the upcoming model will introduce much more upgrades inside than outside. Considering light updates, the new model will probably keep the same pricing range.
The current model starts at $22,000 for the entry-level model, while the most expensive Limited costs $27,675 before any of the options. This pricing puts the Honda C-HR in the same line as the Jeep Renegade, and Mazda CX-30.
Can’t wait for the new 2023 C-HR to be available!
