The all-new 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV has been spied testing for the first time. Exactly two days ago, the prototype is captured near Ferrari headquarters in Italy, wearing heavy camouflage. At first glance, the forthcoming SUV borrows some of its body panels from the famous Maserati Levante model. However, it seats lower, and it features more attractive styling.
The Ferrari Purosangue will arrive sometime next year from the latest media news, and it will face-off against ultra-premium performance SUVs, such as the Aston Martin DBX, Bentley Bentayga, and Lamborghini Urus.

The Ferraris’s first high-performance SUV, the 2022 Purosangue, was spied testing yesterday in Italy. However, as we mentioned, the whole body is disguised, and we barely managed to see what this SUV can offer. First of all, the spy images provide some small clues, and the new Ferrari Purosangue looks lower and sleeker than most today’s SUVs.
Generally, the most attractiveness is on the front fascia. The Purosangue features Ferrari’s recognized grille that somehow reminds us of the Portofino model. The new images also reveal cute slim headlights and sporty black wheels.
Cabin Specs
Unfortunately, there is no available image of the interior. However, according to news, the cabin of the 2022 Ferrari Purosangue will have enough room for four adults and a decent-size cargo bay. We can expect seats to be maximum supportive and carbon-fiber trim that will likely adorn every inch of the Ferrari interior.
Reportedly, the new Ferrari Purosangue will have a different approach than the Roma and F8 Tributo. That means it might handle a digital display in the gauge cluster and a minimum of 7.0-inch infotainment screen mounted vertically on the dashboard center.
2022 Ferrari Purosangue Engine Rumors
There is no much info regarding the engine under the new 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV. Some rumors indicate that it will deploy the same machine as its platform sharing partner Roma model. This model uses a turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine, and it generates in GT variant 612 hp and 760Nm of torque. However, Roma uses a rear-drive layout, and we are assuming a four-wheel-drive system on the Purosangue.
A next candidate is a V12 option. If that happens, the new Purosangue will with ease beat models in the same class, including Aston Martin, Lamborghini Urus, and the most potent Bentley Bentayga Speed.
