2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 Under the Hood

Alongside this engine, Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 also uses a 48-volt hybrid system, air suspension, and is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The latest tests on the track reveal that this SUV can accelerate accelerated from 0 to 60 in just 3.6-second.
As you might know, the previous GLS63 that comes with the same engine and it produces 577 horsepower, is managed to run in the 4.3-second. As for the EPA, it hasn’t released yet. However, the current model with the same engine delivers a decent 22 mpg.
Release Date and Cost
From what we heard, the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 should be available for purchase in the first quarter of the next year. The upcoming model, at first glance, looks luxury and aggressive. Besides that, the interior styling is slightly sportier than the regular Benz-branded GLS-class.
According to Mercedes, the new GLS63 4Matic will starts at $133,095. However, depending on the equipment chosen, this model can easily touch the $150,000 mark. In the same segment are models like BMW X7 M50i and the Range Rover SV Autobiography. Interestingly, both ones cost less than the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS63.
