2020 Jaguar I-Pace Range, Specs

Jaguar’s best-selling SUV is still the F-Pace model. However, that could change in the near future. The 2020 Jaguar I-Pace is almost ready to hit the roads once again. I-Pace is basically the F-Pace model that runs on the all-electric power.

Of course, the company’s goal is to enter the electric crossover segment. In the same segment, Tesla Model Y looks like the toughest rival to beat. In order to stay competitive, the new 2020 I-Pace will get further changes and upgrades. Exterior design is very attractive and sporty. Interior will look even more upscale now and we can expect some new features inside the cabin.

2020 Jaguar I-Pace Provides Stunning Design

As we said, the new 2020 Jaguar I-Pace looks almost the same as the F-Pace model. Both models are based on the same concept, however, I-Pace is smaller than the concept’s vehicle. On top of that, the 2020 I-Pace could get slightly lower ride height and lower hood. The roof design is the same on both models. Front fascia seems to sport the same grille and same headlights.

Even the bumpers are almost the same. However, Jaguar will look to redesign current bumpers. I-Pace offers LED daytime running lights as standard and numerous wheels options. On the other hand, the side profile will largely remain. Rear end could get reshaped taillights and more shiny trims. The rest of the vehicle will stay intact.

2020 Jaguar I-Pace Engine

Even under the skin, I-Pace and the concept are pretty much the same. The upcoming crossover offers the same all-electric drivetrain as the concept. It is a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and two electric generators. This output is good for 395 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. It is one of the most powerful drivetrains in the segment.

Thanks to such a strong output, new 2020 Jaguar I-Pace hits from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. On top of that, I-Pace offers 298 miles of driving range. Tesla still holds the best figures in terms of power and mileage. However, Jaguar won’t stay too far behind. The battery is charged from 0 to 80 percent in 80 minutes.
