Tucson is the latest Hyundai’s model that will get an N-Line treatment. New 2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line is a perfect example of the company’s new high-performance plan. Tucson is a really unique SUV that adds sportiness to the Hyundai’s lineup of SUVs. Tucson N-Line will bring even more sportiness and aggressiveness.
The mid-size SUV will introduce dark features such as wheels, headlights, and bumpers. From the inside, this SUV will offer leather seats, red contrast stitching and sportier steering wheel. Interestingly, performance will remain. However, Tucson N-Line will arrive with improved handling and suspension.
2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line Exterior
The very first thing you’ll notice is the dark mesh grille up front. Unlike the standard horizontal bars, this grille looks extremely sporty and unique. Bumpers are redesigned and more aggressive. A boomerang-shaped daytime running lights are another innovation. Tinted headlights are looking aggressive as well and this SUV will get new premium dark wheels.
Whatsoever, everything on the 2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line looks darker. That includes the black window trims and black mirror caps. A roof-mounted spoiler provides sportier appearance. However, besides the unique features, N-Line dimensionally won’t depart from the base model. Whatsoever, the shape is exactly the same.
Interior Design
The interior will also suffer numerous upgrades. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line will arrive with the leather seats and red contrast stitching. Design and comfort are more premium than on the base model. However, Hyundai’s main focus was the sportiness of the cabin. Numerous N-Line badges, new gear shift leveler and new steering wheel are all available.
Even the seats are sportier and unique. Plenty of dark metal trims are visible at first glance. The mid-size SUV will arrive with the 7-inch display and instrument cluster will keep the analog gauges. The infotainment system is up to date and it supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Of course, you can expect that some optional equipment on the base model will be standard here. That includes features such as second-row USB chargers, Qi wireless charging pad, and the Blue Link system.
2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line Engine
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson N-Line surely looks sportier than the base model. However, this high-performance variant won’t offer any type of drivetrain upgrades. Just like the entry-level model, N-Line Tucson will offer the same engine lineup. In Europe, there will be three drivetrain choices. A 1.6-liter gasoline engine is producing 130 or 175 HP.
A 1.6-liter diesel can generate up to 113 or 135 horsepower. Besides that, a 2.0-liter diesel with a 48-volt hybrid system is available. Hybrid variant offers 182 horses. Of course, now all five outputs will be available on the Tucson N-Line model. The most likely candidate is the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that returns 175 horsepower. Now, here comes the interesting part. Hyundai didn’t want to provide extreme performance. Instead, the manufacturer opted for new suspension and better handling. Basically, driving manners and capabilities are improved without touching the drivetrain. The SUV acts more responsive and overall driving experience will be impressive.
