The completely new 2024 Honda Prologue EV is coming to the market next year. As far as we can tell, the forthcoming model will ride on the latest platform developed by General Motors, and it will use the same Ultium battery packs as the upcoming Blazer EV. Long story short, we expect this SUV to be similar in size to the gas-powered Honda Passport.
It will also be able to provide a driving range of around 250–320 miles per charge thanks to its large battery. In general, all of this depends on configuration, and we can expect a vast number of modifications.
2024 Honda Prologue EV Design
The spy shots of the 2024 Honda Prologue EV are available, and it seems that the upcoming SUV is starting to take on a similar shape to the recently revealed Chevy Blazer EV. Honda plans to introduce more EVs in the future based on different new chassis with GM’s strategic partnership, and the Honda Prologue EV is the first one.
This SUV was designed in Los Angeles in collaboration with Honda’s design team from Japan. It looks really attractive, and we cannot wait to see this model without camouflage.
Interior Rumors
On the inside, the 2024 Honda Prologue EV will be somewhat different from the other Chevy models, including the Blazer. We believe that it will look similar to the recently revealed Lyriq model. The current Lyriq comes with a huge 33-inch touchscreen and comes with standard wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, wireless charging, five USB-C ports, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, and a 19-speaker AKG sound system.
Driver assistance features will include a long list of technologies. Therefore, expect forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, Side Bicyclist Alert, Blind Zone Steering Assist, high-definition 360-degree camera setup, automatic parking, and probably a Super Cruise with a hands-free driving system.
2024 Honda Prologue EV Motor Specs
Details about the motor setup are hazy, but we know that the Prologue EV will ride on a platform developed by General Motors. This means only one, it will use the same Ultium battery packs as future GM EVs.
In case you didn’t know, the same battery is also powering the Lyriq and Blazer EVs. If we can rely on the Blazer’s specifications, we can also expect a driving range of around 250–320 miles per charge. As we said, it all depends on battery capacity. It is worth mentioning that the Honda Prologue will come with two electric motors.
