The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class is on the way, and we can expect many upgrades. As per the latest report, the forthcoming model will be refreshed, featuring a much more attractive design, spacious, luxurious cabin, and plenty of techs. More Luxurious Cabin

Upon stepping in, you will first notice that the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class looks more luxurious than ever. This SUV is wearing Espresso Brown/Black leather upholstery on upper trims, while the standard upholstery in the GLS 450/580 is simulated leather. In general, the GLS is on a par with the legendary S-Class flagship sedan. The cabin is similarly shiny, and the GLS features a dashboard with a twin-screen/one-unit arrangement.

As far as we know, both screens are measuring 12.3 inches on the diagonal. Other standard features are Heated/ventilated front seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, and an new alarm system with parking damage detection.

Under the bonnet, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class will continue to be available with a choice of the same four engines. The standard GLS 450 uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 + EQ Boost producing 362 horsepower. However, more powerful is engine under the hood of the GLS 580 model.

This unit consists of a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that develops 483 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft of torque. The next one Maybach GLS 600, also uses the same engine, but it produces 550 horses. Lastly, the most powerful is the AMG GLS 63 with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 generating 603 horses.

When Can We Expect the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class?

The redesigned 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class will arrive next year, featuring many changes and upgrades. The new full-size SUV looks more attractive, and it blends luxury interior with more space, grace, and pace. It also features many technologies and materials from the company’s flagship sedan S-Class. The GLS 450 4Matic, starts at $77,200, while the GLS 580 4Matic is almost $100.5k.

However, the high-performance AMG GLS 63 is around $135k and the ultra-luxurious Maybach GLS 600 costs $165k. The Bentley Bentayga is in the same line starting at around $166k, while the Autobiography begins in the $211k region.
