The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE has been spied on testing wearing more camo than before. The upcoming SUV shows more camouflage at the front, which covers the entire front fascia. The rear of this SUV is also covered and, unfortunately, is unchanged as we can see the same taillights, bumper, and exhaust system. We expect Mercedes to give the new crossover numerous wheel styles, which will help to keep a fresh look.

The exterior styling of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE is sophisticated, featuring an attractive front end with many eye-catching elements. 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE Under the Hood
Under the hood, the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE comes with five engine options. The base engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline-4 that produces 255 horsepower. It’s upgradable to a 3.0 liter turbocharged inline-6 that makes 362 horses or a twin-turbo V8 with 483 hp. The 6- and 8-cylinder engines both are available in high-performance AMG variants.
The 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 with EQ Boost produces 429 horsepower, while 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with EQ Boost outstanding output of 603 horses. Every GLE-Class comes with a quick-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission using the all-wheel-drive system as standard on all trims except the base GLE 350 model.
Release Date and Price
The redesigned 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE will arrive sometime next year, featuring mild upgrades and the same engine options. However, besides this variant, the manufacturer will reportedly refresh other SUVs in the lineup.
We expect the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class to start at about $55,000 for the base GLE 350 model. However, a high-performance AMG GLE 63 starts over the $110,000 mark. In general, there are many competitors in the class, but you can only find this balance of luxury, performance, and versatility on the rivals like the BMW X5 and Audi Q7.
