The all-new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk will reportedly arrive next year with some serious off-road equipment. Interestingly, some of the renderings are available, and Jeep enhances the base vehicle’s capability and styling adding some features.
At this point, we don’t have a lot of information, other than some assumptions. As far as we know, the new model will come with some suspension tweaking for better off-roading and it should features varieties of tires as well. However, like the base model, the Trailhawk will deploy the same 5.7-liter e-Torque V8 engine.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Design
As mentioned, there are a couple of renderings and the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk looks really cool. Unlike the regular Wagoneer, it comes with an adjustable air suspension, 18-inch wheels, skid plates, tow hooks, and a capable traction management system. The manufacturer also recently stated that there will be a long-wheelbase variant, alongside the plug-in hybrid version.
We expect Trailhawk to come with more robust underbody protection, along with rock rail/steps to protect the rockers. To set it apart visually, the manufacturer will surely add some unique color offerings. From what can see, there will be an anti-glare decal on the hood, attractive grille, and blacked-out chrome trim.
Cabin Features
On the inside, the forthcoming 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk will get some tweaks compared to its predecessor. First of all, it will get more quality materials and some of the new gadgets. For the record, like the regular model, Jeep says there is 39 inches of headroom in the far back, with 36 inches of legroom. For comparison, GMC Yukon is a bit tighter, with 38.2 inches of and 34.9 inches of legroom. As for cargo room, the new Wagoneer offers 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space in the back, which increases 116.7 cubic feet, when all seats are folded.
Like the Series III Premium, the new Trailhawk is available with the same 19-speaker McIntosh MX950 audio system, tri-zone climate control, and rear-seat entertainment. This Wagoneer flagship also comes with a tri-pane sunroof, parking-assist programs, the 360-degree camera system, and Intersection Collision Assist.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Under the Hood
From the information that we got, the forthcoming 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk will be available with one engine. This model should use the same powertrain as the regular one. That means we can expect the same 5.7-liter e-Torque V8, belted with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that provides great performances of 392 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 404 lb-ft of torque at 3,950 rpm.
In general, we can expect Trailhawk to also use the same proven 8-speed automatic transmission as well. With this engine and strong platform, the new Wagoneer is able to tow around 10,000 pounds.
Release Date and Price
The release date of the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk will probably happen sometime next year. We believe that it will debut at the beginning of summertime. However, pricing is not yet available, but expect it to be much more than the regular one that starts at a little less than $60,000.
The current Series III equipped with air suspension and a super-luxe interior starts at $72,994 for a (2WD) and $75,995 for (4WD). Among, the manufacturer also offers Advanced All-Terrain Package ($2,295 on Series II, $1,095 on Series III). The package includes four aluminum skid plates, a fuel tank, and the front suspension.
