Reportedly, the forthcoming 2023 Buick Enclave will get a styling update and a few new features when it arrives next year. Actually, Buick has shared the first photos of the updated model, and we must admit it looks attractive thanks to a fresher-looking face and new taillights.
Besides, the forthcoming model will also come more modern inside. Like before, the three-row SUV will be offered with the same spacious cabin that’s filled with many technologies. However, Buick has yet to share equipment, pricing, and mechanical details of the new Enclave model. We expect it to come with the same 3.6-liter V-6 engine, but it’s possible GM will add a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four to the lineup.
2023 Buick Enclave Facelift
As mentioned, the new 2023 Buick Enclave will get some styling updates for the following year. Thanks to that, this model is more complete, and it looks fresh. It features similar curvy body lines as the previous model, with added sleek LED headlights and taillights.
The look of the upcoming SUV can change a bit depending on which trim you go with. In general, most of the trims look pretty similar, but if you go all the way up to the Avenir trim, you get more for your money. This model features much nicer wheels, attractive grille, and some subtle texture in the signature lighting. The sport Touring appearance package is available as well, and it gives Enclave a sportier look, but it doesn’t change the performance.
Cabin Upgrades
On the inside, this compact SUV will offer more features than you can imagine, even with the choice of the entry level model. It comes with the 3-row, 7-seat cabin, providing comfort to all passengers. Moreover, like on many other models, the third row is simply unusable for anyone taller than the average middle-schooler.
As standard equipment, the 2023 Buick Enclave includes wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It also has leather seating, a dual-pane sunroof, an 8-inch driver information display, a color head-up, a power rear sunshade, and so on. There is more safety tech this time included like advanced adaptive cruise control and safety alert seat.
Powertrain Specs
In general, we don’t think there will be changes to the 2023 Buick Enclave’s standard powertrain. This model as before will continue to use the same 3.6-liter V-6 engine, producing 310 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive is also standard.
Like always, upgrading to AWD optionally will provide slight fuel economy penalty. Generally speaking, it’s possible GM will add a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four to the lineup. The same engine is available under the GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT6 models. This engine should drastically improve Buick Enclave’s EPA fuel-economy numbers.
2023 Buick Enclave Pricing
We expect the pricing of the base 2023 Buick Enclave to start at $40,000. However, if you go for the range-topping Avenir model, you can count on a price at around $55,000.
In-between, there are a few different trims, offering many optional-package choices. So, you can make your own unique Enclave model. As for the release date, we can expect the new model to appear sometime next year, likely in the summertime.
