The 2023 Audi Q3 is the most affordable SUV you can buy. This SUV is smaller than the Q5, but it provides almost the same luxury. Theoretically, as a subcompact crossover, the Audi Q3 feels much roomier than other entry-level premium small crossovers in class including BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, and Volvo XC40.
On top of that, the Audi Q3 also offers a quality interior that’s both tech-rich and user-friendly. A turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is the heart of this model, and it produces 184 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft of torque. Alongside this engine, you can also get an optional and more powerful one, the 45 TSFI, that develops 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
2023 Audi Q3 Facelift
Thanks to refreshed styling, the new 2023 Audi Q3 looks way better than before. Since this generation of Q3 is still fresh, the upcoming model should only introduce a mid-cycle refresh. That means we can expect it to be visually better keeping the same body lines.
The roof rails are aluminum, which is big plus, and you can also get an optional Black Optic package. The package will bring more attractiveness thanks to black accents visible on the exterior elements like the grille and wheels. Speaking of wheels, the entry-level model comes with 18-inch alloys, while 19-inch multi-spoke rims are on the options list.
Interior Upgrades and Changes
The interior of the 2023 Audi Q3 is handsome and is made of quality materials. As before, the Audi Q3 offers two rows of seats, and it can accommodate five passengers. The luggage area behind the rear seats is 23.7 cubic feet, which can be increased to 48 cubic feet by folding the seats down. Theoretically, that’s pretty good figures for this small compact crossover. The Audi Q3 comes as standard with leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, powered panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch driver information display, and it has heated front seats.
It also comes with an updated infotainment system. The 8.8-inch touchscreen, plus Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Safety features are the same as before, and it includes a hill descent control, forward-collision avoidance with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, front/rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams.
2023 Audi Q3 Engine Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2023 Audi Q3 will keep the same two engines. The entry-level model 40 TSFI uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 184 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft of torque. The 45 TSFI is also available as an optional with the same engine that delivers 228 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque.
Both of them are linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard across the range. Overall, all mentioned engines are very economical rated with EPA city/highway fuel economy of 23/30 mpg and 21/28 mpg.
2023 Audi Q3 Price, Release Date
The price of the upcoming 2023 Audi Q3 starts at $35,900 for 40 TSFI, plus a destination charge. At the top end of the range is 45 TSFI in Premium Plus trim that will cost you around $41,500. Putting these prices in context, the BMW X1 is in the same range as the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and Volvo XC40.
As we mentioned, the new model is refreshed, and it provides a much more comfortable interior. Hopefully, we can expect this model to be available to purchase later in the year.
