According to multiple reports, the new 2022 Infiniti QX60 will arrive next year. Basically, there will be no model for the 2021 year. The manufacturer decides to move production to the next year because sales of this model significantly drooped last year. Generally, the Coronavirus situation is not settling down, and that’s the main reason for such move. The manufacturer also did the same with the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder.
However, we just got some information and the first teaser video that reveals a better ride and a fresh look. The more exciting news is that it will use the same 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 295 hp, but now paired with a new 9-speed automatic transmission instead of a continuously variable automatic transmission.
2022 Infiniti QX60 Redesign
The exterior design of the 2022 Infiniti QX60 is rounded and sleek. Generally, the new SUV will only receive mild updates in terms of appearance. The company’s best selling model will once again feature the same double-arch grille, double-wave hood, and new signature LED headlights. The side profile is still attractive, with a gently sloping roof that doesn’t negatively affect the interior room.
Overall, the new Infiniti QX60 is definitively one of the company’s head-turning models. On the back, the QX60 features a power-operated tailgate that comes standard, making a easier to load and unload gear and groceries.
Modern Cabin
If you’re looking for an SUV with a roomy and modern cabin, look no further than the 2022 Infiniti QX60. This model offers plenty of room in all three rows. However, like on other SUVs in the same class, the rearmost seat is best suited for kids. Seats are made of Leatherette surfaces, and they provide maximum feel and comfort.
For 2022, the manufacturer will add more standard features. Even the least expensive Pure trim level is well-appointed. Generally, this will be a first serious redesign since it was launch in 2014. The current model has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $44,350, and we think that the new model would cost slightly higher.
