Compass is one of the best-selling vehicles so we can expect further upgrades.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles mentioned the Level Three Autonomy that will also become available in the near future. Besides that, the 2021 Compass will get numerous visual upgrades and interior updates. However, don’t expect a complete redesign in the next two years.

As for the interior room, Compass offers 38.3 inches of legroom in the back. In a normal setup, cargo area is rated at 27.3 cubic feet. Folding the rear seats opens up to almost 60 cubics.
Power, MPG, Towing
FCA plans to give some sort of electrification to its new models. The upcoming 2021 Jeep Compass is one of the first models that will get a new powertrain option. However, all-electric model is unlikely to happen, at least not in 2021. However, hybrid system is basically official. Regular Compass will continue to ride on its 2.4-liter four-cylinder. This gasoline engine is good for 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and optional four-wheel-drive system.
On the other hand, you can buy an optional 9-speed transmission. As for the fuel efficiency, Compass delivers 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Fuel economy rating is above the average segment’s figures. When it comes to towing capacity, the 2021 Compass will tow around 2,000 pounds.
2021 Jeep Compass Hybrid
FCA plans to realize its electrification plan before 2023. Whatsoever, the manufacturer will introduce ten plug-in hybrid versions and four all-electric models. The 2021 Jeep Compass is about to get a hybrid drivetrain. It is something that Jeep lacks in its lineup of crossovers and SUVs. The price of the regular Compass will once again start around $24,000. However, the 2021 Jeep Compass Hybrid will surely cost around $30,000. There will be numerous trim levels and Trailhawk is the range-topping model. New compact SUV will hit the markets in the third quarter of 2020.
