The new spy shots of the upcoming 2021 Ford Puma ST just shared online in the speed of the light. Some photographers spotted an uncamouflaged prototype in southern Europe.
According to the photos, the upcoming model will introduce many changes over the previous spied model. Furthermore, the new one wears vibrant blue paint and it has more stylish and bigger wheels. High-performance crossover looks more prominent than before. Under the hood, the manufacturer will use a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine that delivers 197 HP and 214 lb-ft of torque. This is the same output that the latest Fiesta ST model provides.
2021 Ford Puma ST Spied Without Camouflage
Blue Oval`s latest crossover 2021 Ford Puma ST has been finally spied testing without camouflage. Thanks to that, we can analyze it. First of all, the new Puma ST will differ in many things from the regular model. Moreover, both ones are built on the same platform, but on the ST model, the manufacturer modified it. With that, we mean that it is more robust and the new model rides lower. As we already mentioned, the upcoming 2021 Puma ST is spied testing undisguised at a gas station in Sweden.
As we can see from the images, Ford removed ST badges from this prototype and tried to trick curious eyes that this model is just a regular Puma, but obviously, they failed in that. ST version reveals deeper front spoiler with a black lip, uprated brakes, twin exhaust pipes that looks sporty and a slightly bigger roof spoiler. This is most of the upgrades that separate this model from the regular one.

There is one available image right now of the cabin. However, according to a photographer who spied Ford Puma, the interior will differ from the regular model.
The new high-performance ST model will get Recaro sports seats, sports steering wheel and some carbon fiber-like trim on the center console. Also, from some information, the Puma ST will borrow many techs from the Fiesta ST model. So, we can expect exceptional comfort and even better security.
2021 Ford Puma ST Under the Hood
The newest model 2021 Ford Puma ST gets a sporty exhaust system and this indicates something evil under. According to the latest news, the manufacturer will use a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine that will likely deliver the same output and torque as the recently showed Fiesta ST. This model produces 197 HP and 214 lb-ft of torque, channeled to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
Thanks to this engine, the new Ford Puma ST runs to 62 mph under 7 seconds. However, just for comparations, the lighter Fiesta ST covers the same mph in 6.5 seconds.
Release Date and Price
Blue Oval manufacturer will officially reveal the new 2021 Ford Puma ST later this year. From some gossip, it might happen at the Geneva Motor Show. Price is not yet published, but we can expect it to be very soon. In our opinion, the price will not pass the $30,000 mark.
