The upcoming 2021 Fisker Ocean is a compact EV crossover that will arrive later this year. Generally, this model will open doors to the new dimension. It provides plenty of features that many of the other models in the same segment don’t have. This model comes with a solar roof, vegan interior, and a pure electric powertrain.
The California-based company confirmed that Fisker Ocean is a zero-emissions crossover and is the “world’s most sustainable vehicle ever built.
2021 Fisker Ocean Exterior Styling
The new 2021 Fisker Ocean looks futuristic and unique. This model separates from the rest of the models in the same class. Generally, the body of the Ocean model is similar to the Range Rover Evoque thanks to its short and stout stance.
The front looks unique and Fisker Ocean comes with slim LED headlights and a closed grille that looks similar to the Ram 1500’s grille. We like what the manufacturer did with LED Daytime Running Light strip that extends all the way to the grille. The performance model will be also available and its design will not different at all from the base one.
Interior Appearance
As we mentioned, the new 2021 Fissker Ocean is the SUV that will use a lot of recycled material inside the cabin. Basically, the company claims that most of the materials are gathered from beaches and oceans. Hence, the name Ocean. This means that this model features a 100-per cent vegan cabin. For example, carpets inside are made from regenerated nylon from abandoned fishing net waste. Also, the manufacturer used polyester fibers and recycled bottles on surfaces like the dash, door panels, and elsewhere in the cabin.
Under the massive vertically-placed touchscreen on the center console, you can find a wireless charging spot and cup holders. This system controls almost everything in the SUV.
2021 Fisker Ocean Engine Specs
As we mentioned, the forthcoming 2021 Fisker Ocean is an SUV that will sit on an all-new electric-car platform. This model will be available in two EV forms in the coming years. For the Ocean, thanks to its structure, it can hold a roughly 80-kWh battery pack, and it produces around 300 horsepower. The whole system is delivering an estimated 250 to 300 miles of driving range. As you can see, this model can easily compete with Tesla model cars.
From what we heard, the new Fisker has a unique “industry-leading” structure that protects the battery from side impacts. After the initial roll-out, Fisker will also introduce a new performance version. According to some gossips, this model will be able to run from 0 to 60 mph in the 2.5-second range.
