2021 BMW X1 xDrive25e
A plug-in hybrid is confirmed, and we have some new information. This model will wear nameplate xDrive25e, and it will consist of a 1.5-liter turbo engine that is paired with an electric motor. Also, a lithium-ion battery of 9.7 kWh is set under the rear seat.
Furthermore, this combination will deliver a total of 217 hp and 284 lb-ft. According to an official announcement, the max speed of the new PHEV crossover is 120 mph. Also, with this engine, X1 can run from 0 to 60 mph in 7 seconds, and it comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard. On all electronic mode, it can go for about 31 miles.
2021 BMW X1 Price and Release Date
The next-gen 2021 BMW X1 will be redesigned for the following year. According to some reports, the manufacturer will keep the same price as before. So, the base model could start at $35,000.
However, the upper trims will be priced slightly higher, while the most loaded model can reach a price of $40,000. Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Lincoln MKC are the models in the same price range. The debut of the new 2021 BMW X1 will happen in the first half of 2021.
