Audi’s flagship model Q8 SUV will get a new high-performance RS variant. According to the latest news, the upcoming 2021 Audi RS Q8 shares the same MLB platform with the latest Lamborghini Urus model.
The brand’s first RS-badged SUV will be made exclusively for the United States market. Like the Urus SUV, the RS Q8 packs a sporty and beautiful appearance. Interestingly, both models are equipped with powerful engines that deliver the same amount of power 600 horses. On top of that, the interior is made of premium materials and is looking modern.
2021 Audi RS Q8 Looks Incredible
The exterior design of the RS variant is incredible. We must say that 2021 Audi RS Q8 is one of the aggressive-performance SUVs on the market right now. It definitively provides better styling than Lamborghini Urus. The recently presented model boasts a green overall, and its front end dominates thanks to the radiator grille in RS design. Headlamps are somewhat different than on the standard model and make the RS look like its squinting in concentration.
On the side profile, the shape is made even meaner and the manufacturer used large 10-spoke aluminum 22-inch wheels. On top of that, the rear end is also aggressive and sporty, with the roof edge spoiler that spreads further to the back.
Interior Enhancement
The interior of the new high-performance 2021 Audi RS Q8 will use the same design and layout as the base Q8. Generally, RS Q8 will be unique and some boost will happen. The luxury interior will come with Alcantara leather, stainless steel on the pedals, and more high-end techs. This potent powertrain comes with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and all-wheel-drive system (Quattro) as standard. Thanks to 800 Nm of torque the new model has been able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed is 305 kph or (189 mph). Besides, there will be seven modes available comfort, auto, dynamic, allroad, offroad, and two customizable ones called RS1 and RS2.
2021 Audi RS Q8 Release Date and Price
The new 2021 Audi RS Q8 will be available to purchase on the U.S. market in 2020. To conclude, this model is powerful and it brings more premium features inside than the base Q8. Also, it comes with a strong engine that delivers 600 hp and can accelerate to 63 mph in just 3,8 sec. However, pricing has not been announced yet, but expect it to be above the price of the Q8 that starts at $68,000.
