2020 Toyota C-HR

Not so many crossovers can brag about the instant rise of popularity like the C-HR model. This crossover made an instant impact thanks to the attractive styling and strong engine. The 2020 Toyota C-HR will host numerous upgrades, mostly on higher trim levels. That means the price of the upper trims will start slightly higher than before.

However, the base model will arrive at the current price, which is great. Exterior and interior will get numerous upgrades. We can also expect mechanical changes such as new all-wheel-drive setup. Furthermore, the hybrid model could happen this year, according to different sources.

2020 Toyota C-HR Offers Seductive Style

The 2020 Toyota C-HR will look more attractive than the current model. The new crossover also looks sportier and more modern than before. However, the base model will stay intact. The only exterior upgrades will happen on other trim levels. That includes larger headlights, new fog lights, larger front bumper and revised LED taillights.

The new character line is also visible innovation and the taillights are finished in a boomerang shape. More chrome accents are present now, along with the black moldings around the wheel arches. On top of that, 18-inch black painted wheels are all-new as well.

Interior Refreshments

The upcoming crossover will arrive in numerous trim levels. As we mentioned, the base model will stay intact. This model comes with the standard 7-inch touchscreen that sits in the middle of the dashboard. Control panel comes with the great button layout. Also, USB ports and Bluetooth are standard. Upper trim levels will bring plenty of refreshment.

For an instant, XLE model adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, updated infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Cabin space is generous on all models, but fitting three adults in the back is still an issue for the 2020 Toyota C-HR.

2020 Toyota C-HR Powertrain Improvements

The all-new 2020 Toyota C-HR will continue to use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit as the only engine choice. This smaller displacement manages to generate up to 145 horsepower. Its torque is 140 lb-ft. According to Toyota, a new crossover will come with improved driving dynamics. The customers can choose between manual and automatic transmission.

The ride is smooth but doesn’t expect great performances. The hybrid model is speculation for now. Some rumors are saying the C-HR Hybrid will arrive later this year and it will deliver astonishing mileage. However, this is an uncertain thing to happen this year. On the other hand, the all-wheel-drive setup is certain. Interestingly, C-HR didn’t offer this driving setup before. Now, that will change and the AWD system will be optional.

MSRP And Release Date

The price of the new 2020 Toyota C-HR will start somewhere between $20,000 and $25,000 for the base model. However, upper trims will arrive with a slight price increase. Higher trim levels are updated and that is the main reason for such a move from Toyota.

Whatsoever, all-wheel-drive setup is optional and finally available. The 2020 C-HR Hybrid model is still uncertain but if it happens, it will cost around $30,000. This crossover will hit the dealerships in the last quarter of 2019.
