The base model comes with four USB ports, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, tri-zone climate control, and a 6-speaker sound system. Ascent is one of the safest full-size SUV on the market. Engine Specs
The forthcoming 2020 Subaru Ascent will also continue to ride on a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This turbocharged unit is capable of producing up to 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Subaru’s iconic symmetrical all-wheel-drive system is standard. On top of that, a CVT transmission is available too.
However, the Ascent can tow 5,000 pounds. This full-size SUV can travel up to 500 miles on a single tank. Fuel economy is rated at 26 mpg on the highway and Ascent offers 8.7-inches of ground clearance.
2020 Subaru Ascent Price and Availability
Subaru’s new SUV is available for the same price as the current model. Furthermore, the 2020 Subaru Ascent starts at 33,500. Premium trim will cost $35,500 and Limited trim $40,500. On top of the range, Touring trim is priced at $47,000. The full-size SUV will go on sale in the last quarter of 2019. The main rivals of the Subaru Ascent are models Honda Pilot, Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Volvo XC90.
