Cars are slowly dying and compact crossovers are becoming extremely popular. Infiniti offers a wide lineup of crossovers and SUVs. The forthcoming 2020 Infiniti QX30 is a well-known model that will receive further upgrades. This compact crossover could be discounted in the future. New-generation is still not coming and QX30 will get minor changes.
This moment will be similar to the Mercedes GLA-Class. Two models will share plenty of similar or the same components. Price is affordable for such a good performance and the level of luxury. There will be three trim levels and design will look very modern and attractive.
2020 Infiniti QX30 Looks Incredibly Modern
The current QX30 model looks upscale and luxurious. New 2020 Infiniti QX30 will offer small changes from the outside. The exterior will benefit from a slightly more aggressive approach. Swoopy roofline will remain, along with the lines and creases. However, the hood will get slightly different lines. Angular headlights and grille are intact. To the sides, wheels are ranged from 18 to 20-inch wheels. There will be three trim levels, so each trim gets unique wheels.
The rear fascia looks incredibly modern and eye-pleasing. However, Infiniti won’t introduce any type of upgrades at the back. The 2020 QX30 model will share its underpinnings with the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class. Whatsoever, two models are sharing plenty of similarities from the outside.
Interior Features
The cabin will look very modern and upscale. The layout is perfect and the whole interior is customizable. The 2020 Infiniti QX30 will get a simpler layout of the buttons. Luxury is everywhere, even with the base trim level. Comfort is great, especially up front. Legroom is great, but taller rear occupants could have some trouble.
Cargo area is rated at 19.2 cubic feet. Tech-wise, Infiniti also offers a standard 7.0-inch touchscreen as standard. The infotainment system is up to date and it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Keyless ignition, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, and cloth upholstery are standard. Upper trim levels are offering Nappa leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, panoramic moonroof, and other premium features.
2020 Infiniti QX30 Under the Hood
Infiniti won’t change anything under the hood. The 2020 Infiniti QX30 will ride on a single engine option. It is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is available on all three trim levels. Thanks to a turbocharger, this engine is producing 210 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox is in the offer as well. Front-wheel-drive system comes as standard.
All-wheel-drive setup is available only as an option. If you opt for the standard FWD configuration, fuel economy is rated at 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. AWD setup slightly lowers fuel economy rating, 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2020 Infiniti QX30 will keep its affordable price. The base model starts at $31,000, just like the current 2019 model. However, the compact crossover could face a discount.
According to Infiniti, QX30 records the lowest sales in its history. It could be replaced in the future with the new compact crossover that will ride on the company’s new unique platform. However, the 2020 QX30 will surely arrive later this year.
